I am a White Polar bear on a slab of ice all alone I am a Rhino fighting not to fade to dust I am a human being Walking the line I dream everyday Work every night I live in the now and fight for what’s right I have seen the lines that I wish I had not And done many a deed I wish to be forgot Whether through nature itself or my OCD I will not back down, even when my own hands strangle me I will run hither and thither until against the wall Gotta respect the moments where your mind just stalls I’m tired of perfection A basic status They say greed is a trait NO it’s a habit Like a drug it’s hard but you can break free The only chains holding you down are the ones you choose to see Be the human to walk through that wall Be the Rhino who refuses to wither at all We might be polar opposites With sins for which we need to atone But we’re just like that bear Can’t you see All we really want is to live life and be free Life is short so live it loud Be yourself and Be here now
